You guys were distracted talking about the clocks smh And Brandon, this is never actually explained, but the concept of a "zombie" is NOT A THING in this world. That's mainly why Rick doesnt react to things the way you'd think. They don't have the knowledge or familiarity with the zombie genre to figure out whats going on. Just wasn't a thing in their pop culture.

It’s not your cliche zombie movie in my opinion. As the show progresses, there’s pretty good character development for certain characters and zombies aren’t the only threat Also for Ron, I haven’t watched the episode yet so not sure if this was mentioned but the creator of the walking dead also created invincible! A lot of the actors/actresses voice act in invincible.
