October Report
Hello everyone, this is Mero.
This month we made several updates and polish passes to the game, and we also have some important announcements at the end.
Combat
We received a lot of feedback saying that the combat felt too light and lacked impact.
To improve this, we adjusted animation timing, added hit stop, and increased screen shake to make each hit feel heavier.
We also improved some sound effects and added extra hit VFX so every strike feels like the enemy is actually reacting.I considered adding enemy knock-back, but that would cause a lot of bugs and code complications, so for now we decided not to include it unless it becomes truly necessary.
Zerina now has a voice! She’s voiced by Yui Hibari, and she sounds mature and really fits the character
Added text above the sign gate to show which room you’ll enter next.

Added a currency UI that always displays at the top-right corner, instead of only appearing in the shop.

A new stage, Abandoned Mine, is currently in development.
In the early areas you’ll encounter classic Goblin and Hobgoblin miners, and as you explore deeper into the corrupted tunnels you’ll start meeting the blighted Arachnid.
At the deepest part of the mine, a Dungeon will appear!
Dialogue scenes now make it clearer who’s speaking.
When Zerina talks, her sprite lights up; when another character speaks, she dims out.
This makes conversations easier to follow.
Arachnid
A spider-like creature corrupted by demonic energy.
Its fangs carry a paralyzing venom, and its silk can trap any unsuspecting prey.
Miner Goblin
A clever goblin that sneaks into mines to gather resources for unknown purposes.
It’s surprisingly intelligent and takes delight in humiliating any human that stumbles across it.
Warrior Goblin
A cunning goblin who enjoys kidnapping and torturing humans.
Hobgoblin
A larger species of goblin with a massive build.
It serves as a guard of the cave, protecting the other creatures inside.

I’ll be taking one month off to create a small simulation game.
The reason is that funding for Witch Dungeon is running low, so we decided to make a smaller and simpler project to help support the development of Blight Memoria.
That’s all for this month!
I hope you’re looking forward to both Blight Memoria and the new upcoming game!
