In emergencies, perimeters usually deploy a rapid acting anaesthetic gas, which the Defence Clones are always more than happy to use. Putting on their protective gear and seeing the unprotected slump to their knees always gets them worked up. It's not uncommon for them to wear chastity belts to keep them focussed on work.
