Let me set the scene and also do a little bit of explaining. After winning (perhaps in China, perhaps elsewhere) Yuuri sits in a dark locker room with his thoughts. The pressure has been at an all time high, not so much for skating, but for dealing with this world that he’s stolen Victor from. He doesn’t look like most winners look after a victory, deep in thought and keeping to himself. Victor enters the room, asking why Yuuri looks so glum.
Now, personally, I think that a true, first confession of love probably happened before this, so maybe this is a cop out, but I really liked this idea and went with it. I hope you’ll enjoy it, this is probably the second time I had to really try and act, but I love writing this sort of dialogue, and I think it shows in how I performed it.
Also, there’s some rustling that happens ¾ of the way through…that’s supposed to be Yuuri grabbing a hold of Victor and pulling him close, but that’s very hard to convey through sound only and no Victor noises…so I hope that’s at least kind of clear and if not…well, you know now.
