Charge up front
Added 2019-02-16 21:27:46 +0000 UTCWithin the next few days, the payment processing will be switched to charge up front. For existing supporters, you will not see any change. The difference will be for new supporters. If you're considering pledging to this project, instead of having to wait until the beginning of the next month, once charge up front is operational, your pledge will be processed immediately. This will not apply to those who signed up to pledge this current month before charge up front was activated.
Please note that if it's getting close to the end of the month, you might wish to hold off pledging until the new month, as Patreon will charge you twice in this case: The first time when you sign up to pledge, and again when the new month arrives.
