Let's talk about Pitbabe Season 2 Episode 1!

I have a lot of thoughts. I debated reacting to this series on my channel, but decided against it. I may make content on it once it's over, but I figured I'd just share my thoughts here in the meantime.

• Babe & Charlie

  • Even in episode 1, we can begin to see their communication slightly breaking down. (Specifically, the scene where Charlie was in the apron and they both were talking about having a rough day.)

  • What they're setting up with the new racer:

    • I remember in the trailer they kinda implied that Babe cheats on Charlie with the new racer.

    • At first, I thought that this was the trailer attempting to bait us. Like maybe Babe was pretending to cheat to get information out of the new character. Or there was something else going on, but after today's episode, I feel like they're setting up a Charlie and Babe break up arc?

    • This is so often why I dislike it when series get a season 2 because they'll often force conflicts that seem out of character or reverse the development that the characters already had in previous seasons.

      • I honestly prefer it when the characters figure out how to face the conflict together instead of forcing a season two break up.

    • I'm not saying what has already happened is out of character or reversing development yet, but I'm worried it's heading in that direction.

    • I'm interested to see how Babe and Charlie continue to develop their relationship with each other and where their story is going to go.

• North & Sonic

  • MY BOY SONIC WAS PRESENT ON SCREEN! So this episode is automatically a win in my books.

  • I really am excited to see their relationship develop over this season. I love a friends to lovers storyline.

  • I really hope North & Sonic will get to see some development this season, but it honestly feels like they just have way too many ships and storylines to juggle.

• Way & Chris

  • The way Chris immediately wrote off any connection to Way: I really hope the series will delve into this more. It would be like if Chekov's gun never went off.

  • I wonder if Chris existing has something to do with Tony cloning Way or something...

  • I'm interested to see how the relationship between Pete and Chris is going to develop, because if I was Chris, I would be so hesitant to jump into a relationship with someone who clearly was in love with my doppelgänger. I would constantly be asking myself does he really love me or just the fact that I look like way?

All in all, I actually think the most interesting plot line that was introduced was whatever is going along with Chris and the serum they're currently trying to develop.
