In-depth Intro to Oliver Stone

Brett runs through his entire filmography (including many of his writer and producer credits) and gives a very personal overview of Stone's life and work. In the second half, he reviews Stone’s 2020 autobiography, Chasing the Light, highlighting Stone’s privileged upbringing and his possible brush with the clandestine services at Yale.

Mercedes Ruehl, who co-stars with James Woods in the Stone-produced McMartin TV movie, just happened to have an FBI agent for a father. Her brother was a high-profile Australian newspaper columnist. Ruehl was awarded an Oscar for 'The Fisher King' - some of her dialogue in that film is the most flat-out Luciferianism (especially a speech she delivers she just after the half hour mark). Jeff Bridges had previously made the film 'Starman' with Karen Allen whose father also happened to be an FBI agent.
