POST-STORM UPDATE

So, in the previous post, I mentioned that there was a rather nasty storm coming through. That storm has come and gone, so I can breathe easy now.
Yes, I'm okay. I appreciate everyone who checked in on me. ๐
The storm was a pretty rough one--a lot (A LOT) of thunder and lightning, heavy rain, and very intense wind. I had listened to a lengthy video to help me stay up through it. Miraculously, my power did not go out. My area was under a tornado watch, and there was a warning issued 20 minutes from my location, but it thankfully did not affect me. The storm lasted from 23:30 until about 2:30; the tornado watch was lifted around 3:00 and it was then that I finally took a nap.
The area around my house was more or less intact; lots of branches on the ground. A piece of siding on a business that my house shares property with did get blown off, but otherwise everything was fine. There were reports of downed trees around my area, but they were cleared up before I left for work Monday.
Overall, the experience felt more like a mild hurricane--which is still not ideal as I've gone through that, too--but I made it. Others weren't so lucky.
