BANDIT REVOLVER ROUGH CUT Vol. 4
Added 2024-10-15 19:30:02 +0000 UTCIt's that time again, lovelies! More progress on my slow burn (in a lot of ways) FFXV fancomic. As promised last month, this month takes a look at one of the fight scenes you'll find in the comic. There's a lot that goes into making these, such as making sure everything flows and then once the pages are rendered I add motion blur where needed to give the action a better sense of, well, action 😗
There's still a lot of fine tuning to be done, but hopefully y'all get the gist of what's going on! A lot of my inspiration for fight scenes come from media such as Hong Kong action flicks and games like Yakuza/Like a Dragon! So, expect physics to be virtually non-existent and just enjoy the ride. c:
Next month...I'm not sure what I'll showcase for next month. But I hope y'all will look forward to it all the same!

I find that panel shapes are pretty key in fight/action scene presentation! Movement tends to be harder to execute since 1) Comics are a static medium and 2)it has to look exciting and flow well, but I'm glad I've made it work thus far!
