I'm still watching (so maybe y'all call it in the wrap-up) but just got to the scene where Luthen is selling the Devaronian necklace... it's my third watch through and I'm now confident that the things he's selling are pieces he's "collected" as a soldier. He feels bad selling them. The look when He say's "not today." Like he wasn't taking them for profit, but for preservation (thinking back to the sky kyber pendant). But he has to eat and his rebellion has to persist.
