if Jude Law's character was also the pirate captain at the begining of the show and allwoing that killing easily, I am subscribing to the ideea that he has no Force training but he is force sensitive and stumbled over his powers accidentally and using them to survive. Also Fern's mother, Undersecretary Fara gives me Jedi vibes. Maybe a protector of the "Eternal Treasure"?

So he can to the odd party trick. Now the planet. I don’t think is a planet. I have a theory that it is an experiment in a base or ship orbiting a planet that was started during the last days of the republic maybe to breed a loyal class of officers. It could be the people that run the “planet” can leave and bring new items or update information to it
