Just realized that “I’ve had 16 years to think about what I would say to you…” is in reference to killing Aniseya. Mae witnessed it. Not Osha I do find it a problem that Indara doesn’t have an issue with blaming a child, even to help Osha. That’s her guilt. I’m finding it interesting and curious story wise that Kelnacca exiles himself and pointedly isn’t killed by Mae. It’s convenient that Mae has a bit of a change of heart at least temporarily, but I’m wondering about the “fate” and legacy of it all. I’d be shocked if Koril is dead. I think Koril has the connection to bring in Qimir and finish the plot for now. I won’t go too political, but this is a pretty big metaphor for a big country or organization bounding into a smaller country’s conflict with good intentions, but somehow messing up the situation they don’t understand far worse.
