He touched his ear just before telling it indicating he was lying just like when he was being interviewed by the droid and was asked if he's feeling any anger or resentment toward the New Republic.

I didn't know you worked for him. -I heard he escaped route to the War Tribunal. -No, that was just a cover story. I heard they hooked him up to a mind flayer. It maybe true, i don't really believe someone will give him a chance for redemption.
