Hello, everyone.
Last week, in the wake of the public & 2160p release of TO BREED & BOND, I put out two large blog posts. The first post was a postmortem on the video, breaking down the tortured development cycle and investigating ways to avoid it from happening again.
Far more relevant to this post and all of you is the second post, which is a breakdown of my plans for the immediate future. To summarize those plans very briefly, they are broken down into two parts.
The first part is that I will be spending the month of December on the following things:
1.) Get the Frozen video processed and ready for dubbing, and get the audio recording underway.
2.) Experimenting with Blender for various simulations, such as fluid, hair, cloth, and soft-body simulations.
3.) Designing a new made-on-stream lewd UE5 game.
The second part is my plan for January, which is to focus on Overbreed Episode 1 and try to get Sequence C (the main Mercy x Sombra sequence) fully blocked out. It's about 2/3rds the way done right now. I want to get it over the finish line.
Last night, I finally finished processing out the Frozen dub video and splitting it into its constituent parts. It ended up with 131 total individual video clips for dubbing. And as of earlier this morning, I have reached out to the wonderful voice talent who voiced Anna and Elsa in the opening sequence, all those long years ago. I am awaiting reply to see if they are still interested in the project.
If all goes well, then the audio recording process will begin before end of day today, and I will be spending the next few weeks experimenting with Blender and figuring out the most effective ways to tune and work the various simulations.
I've been making decent progress on the high-level design for the UE5 game as well. In the blog post I describe the setting and context of the game, and I have been slowly working out various specific game mechanics as well as a very rough sketch of player progression.
That's all for now.
Until next week, everyone!
