So far, Batcat is chugging along exactly on schedule. I was able to get the apartment-exterior sequence done, including what I think may actually be the first walk cycle I've animated by hand, for better and for worse.

As I noted last week, as of 11:59PM yesterday, the Batcat storyboard has been officially locked down!
Innie and I managed to cut the storyboard from 11.5 minutes down to 7.5 minutes. We could have gone even more aggressive, but we had hit the point where any further cuts would start to compromise Innie's vision - and since we had managed to get it under the 8-minute threshold I'm aiming for, I decided we didn't need to cut any further.

I ended up not sleeping at all from Sunday into Monday, meaning that by the time Monday proper rolled around I was pushing 24+ hours of being awake and was not at all in a position to really make a Progress Report post. Things are chugging along. I've gotten the first 12 minutes all jittered, with 3 minutes left to go. Gonna be a bit of a crapshoot as to how quickly those final 3 minutes will go, as half of them involve 4 characters (slows jitter down), but 2 of them are mostly just talking (speeds jitter up).

Progress is chugging along. All of the lip-sync is finally done, and I have moved onto the jitter phase. It's a subtle thing, but I think it personally adds a lot to the "completeness" of an animation. Take, for consideration, this Progress Report's poster.
