Hello, everyone!

So far, so good. We're still on schedule. I've gotten all of the dialogue lip-sync done, which leaves detail animation and non-dialogue lip-sync to be done.

I also put together a potential trailer cut for when the project goes live. You can click here to view that. The trailer cut is made with the old renders, so no lip-sync to show off there. I did show off some lip-sync over on Twitter the other day, though.

The audio is still unfinished, and it's doubly fucky because it's apparently impossible for video editing programs to properly handle nested multilayer audio - sometimes audio just randomly cuts out of one ear for no discernible reason in this trailer cut, when it stays correctly stereo in the parent clips.

Truthfully, I'm not very happy with it, but I still have time to fiddle with it and try to get a better cut.

Not too much else to report, other than I am decidedly sore and this weekend has thoroughly relinquished any hesitations I may have had as to whether or not being a professional mover is in the cards for me. Spent about 6 hours each on Saturday and Sunday helping a friend move apartment. The price you pay being The Friend With The Truck.

I am hoping to have all of the detail animation done by September 9th, and to be ready to start the final 4k render on September 10th. This is really going to be the do-or-die week, because there are just a million little things that have to get done in this pass. None of it is hard, no individual piece takes more than a few minutes - but there's just so many small pieces, it all adds up.

So we'll see what happens.
