Mostly nothing, I finished working on the crossover and published it. The whole Hollene idea turned out to be much longer than I anticipated, coming to over 8K words long (most chapters are 4-5K words long). It was fun to write and I hope you enjoyed reading it. Other than that, there’s nothing in the works at the moment.
Aren’t you working on a new chapter/story?
Unfortunately, no. Call it writer’s block, burnout, or a slump, bottom line is I find it hard to bring myself to write something new.
Does that mean no more stories?
Quite the opposite. I talked with one of my professors and asked for advice. She suggested I keep going but change the way I work. This is where you can come in and help. I need your ideas to spark my creativity. If you want to help (you don’t have to), you can suggest story ideas. It can be here in the comments, over on Discord (Neolime69#2920) or by email (neolime69@gmail.com). Here are a few pointers and things you need to know:
- It doesn’t have to be a best seller idea, or some brilliant innovative thing, just an idea.
- It can be one word or a couple of paragraphs (don’t go overboard and write the whole thing).
- I can’t promise I’ll write your idea, sorry. But if I will, you will be given full credit for the idea.
- If you don’t have an idea but still want to help, a pep talk is also appreciated.
I want to try writing short stories to spark the fire in hopes it will end the problem.
