Azathoth Slug live!

Hi everyone, the Azathoth Slug is ready. You will be able to find it (and whatever the current monthly monster model is) at the new pinned post here. LYS files and pre-supported STL files are included.

I will continue to offer archiving on MMF to all active Patrons. For October's model, you'll get an archive access link in early November.

Please remember to switch your tier this month if you'd like to save $ in the future - new tiers are available at $2 and $5 rates. If you don't do anything, you'll continue to get charged the former bundle rate ($8) and your benefits will be identical to the $5 tier (you'll be eligible for the epic loyalty model at the end of each quarter.)

Hello all - VoidRealms is BACK with a brand new model and all-new (cheaper!) tier options for Patreon. October will feature the Azathoth Slug, which comes pre-supported at around 75mm tall. Let me know what you think of it!

Here are the highlights on the changes:

- New, lower-priced Patreon tier options at $2 or $5 per month. Both tiers get you access to the monthly monster model, while the $5 tier will give you the chance to unlock the quarterly epic loyalty model if you support for 3 consecutive months in a quarter (the first of these will be for the Oct / Nov / Dec months and will release in December.)

- The $5 tier gets you access to the 30% MMF discount; the $2 tier does not.

- Merchant tier is now capped at only 20 spots.

- If you are currently a supporter at the $8 level, you can switch into a lower tier. If you don't change tiers, you will maintain access and will receive the same benefits as the $5 tier (the extra support is much appreciated!)

BONUS freebies + September update

Hi everyone,

I'm still arranging everything with my life, work, and the VoidRealms brand, and not quite ready yet to move into the next phase. For now, I'm gifting both the Net Squid and the Vortex Chimera to everyone who's stayed with me in July / August through this pause. You'll see access to these on your MMF account next month. Expect at least one more drop for everyone who stays on in September.

September will be free as well for current Patrons (billing will remain paused.) If you sign up as a new Patron in September, you'll get access to the June bundle 

Going forward, the intention will be for Patreon and Tribes to focus on quality rather than quantity of models, and that will come with more favorable (lower) rates for those who want to support. This will allow me time to focus on campaign (Kickstarter / Tribes) development, more original lore, and collaborations with other artists.

May Previews - "The Lucid Throne"

Hey everyone! My pacing for May is almost back on track to my 2021 / 2022 cadence - all sculpts should be completed tomorrow. Here's what you can expect. It's a cool release, I went a little more bizarre thinking about the planes that Sah'ran has been traveling. The Soul Cluster and the Grinning Bat will appeal to the cosmic horror-inclined folks out there. Here's the full lineup:

- Mist Worm (~90mm Tall, nice facial details throughout its exoskeleton, and an optional face)

- Mist Snails (5 variants, little minion types, under 30mm tall each)

- Soul Cluster (50-60mm tall)

- Grinning Bat (WIP, Zbrush grab attached, he will be in the large / huge range)

- Lucid Throne (prop / terrain piece, image forthcoming)

*Remember, those who stick with me through this whole Cycle (April, May, and June) will unlock access to the Epic Being of the Cycle in June. It's shaping up to be a really insane, original monster and I should start being able to show some WIPs of it in the coming weeks.

Celestial Sphinx 2.0!

Hi everyone,

I'm really pleased to reveal the Celestial Sphinx sculpt that will complete the April bundle (located in the monthly files link.)

The Celestial Sphinx was one of my very first models for VoidRealms. While it was a cool design, I will quickly admit that at that time I still had a lot to learn about sculpting for tabletop miniatures. After almost 3 years and literally hundreds of sculpts, I wanted to re-model the Sphinx using all of the knowledge I've gained.

At pre-supported scale, he's about 80mm tall, and there are 2 hand variations to choose from. I hope you'll enjoy printing, painting, and adding him to your collection!

Final DAILY DROP: Cephalotus Spiralis

The final daily drop for April is here: the Cephalotus Spiralis. Originally from the Uzumaki / Spiral Horrors campaign, this is a larger, multipart model featuring a twisted, multiheaded carnivorous plant sprouting the occasional, ghostly head as a tongue. You know, standard fare.

Daily Drop #6: Astral Drifters

Today's Daily Drop are the Astral Drifters. This is another collection of minions from the Spelljammer themed release set back in August (you can see that full collection, including a Solar Dragon and Eldritch Lich, on MMF.)

April Release: Chronicles of Sah'ran, pt. 1

Hello from the Void-

March has already come and gone, and I'm gonna be working through the weekend to finish up the April set. The theme for next month is "Chronicles of Sah'ran" and is a return to the originality of VoidRealm Minis with some brand new models not based on anything that currently exists in DnD, Cthulhu, etc. This bundle features monsters that inhabit the Bog of Thuule (a marshland on a forgotten dreamplane in the VoidRealms story universe) and will include:

- Aurlan (a steed of sorts that lives in the marshland)

- Vorlops (more bizarre, multipedal animals that procure mouths from their amorphous face. 4 total models - 2 poses and 2 facial varieties)

- Bog Djinn (speaks telepathically and lures travellers deeper into the surreality of the Bog of Thuule)

- ***At least 1 more model, to be finished and announced over the weekend***

- A throwback model of the Unfinished God / Atropal will also be included, with updated Lychee supports! This is a model that I did early on in my miniature sculpting career, has proven to be pretty popular, and I've always wanted updated presupports for him to make it easier for folks to print.

This release marks a new phase in the VoidRealmMinis line, and represents a fundamental shift in focus towards original model that will contribute to the larger VoidRealmMinis lore and universe. I will still model Lovecraftian creatures and DnD-inspired monsters from time to time, but original, weird creatures bring me the most joy to sculpt.

The structure of the monthly releases is also going to shift slightly so that I can keep up with the workload and provide you all sculpts that I'm truly proud of. Each quarter (3 months) will all have similar themes and center around an all new, original cosmic deity (Epic Being) akin to a Great Old One or Cosmic Guardian. Patrons who are active for the full 3 months in a cycle will unlock the Epic Being of that quarter. This will allow me more time with those larger sculpts so that I can push them to really insane levels of detail, which I'm psyched about! You'll hear more about the Epic Being of this VoidRealms cycle very soon.

Again, stay tuned for some surprise bonus throwback drops on April 1st and 2nd - no joke!

Hi everyone! The March release is live and YIG is complete. This is one of my most insane models yet, and I really hope you enjoy printing him! He's a nasty cosmic horror, at 165mm tall, and filled with details.

March Previews "The Father of Serpents"

Hello all!

Here's some teasers of the March release, featuring a nasty large model of Yig, the Cthulhu Mythos deity.

*Yig himself is still an active WIP and will be finished up over next weekend.

Everything else should drop within the first week and includes the following:

- Nashlaan, the Sentinel of the Father. This horror is over 100mm tall and his limbs can end in hands or spines, your choice. He's also got head options with or without tongue.

- Cultists of Yig (2 poses / 3 variants)

- 2 more Progeny of Yig models to compliment the cultists

Rounding out the release in the second week of March will be:

VoidRealm Minis RETURNS with Ophidian Horrors in February!

Hey everyone,

After an extended hiatus where I juggled multiple jobs through a change in careers, I'm psyched to unveil a new release for you all next month! Here are a few WIP images for Patrons. Thank you for sticking with me these past few months! This release is inspired loosely by Yig from the Cthulhu Mythos and includes some Progeny of Yig, a Gorgon, and that healthy dose of VRM cosmic + body horror.

My goal is to get the full release, with renders, unsupported, to you all the first week of February. Presupported files will be added later in February.

Looking ahead, I'm hoping to be back on my regular cadence by March.

VoidRealm Minis updates!

Hi all, it's been silent on my front and I wanted to give you a few updates.

Billing will pause again for January, so again, don't go anywhere and you won't be charged for January. I am hoping to do a free Holiday sculpt of some kind dropping this week or next.

Unexpectedly, last month I was offered and accepted a job offer to begin working as the Creative Director for Meow Wolf's Omega Mart. This is an incredible career opportunity for me outside the world of minis, but practically, it means that I've been working two jobs during the month of December while I finish up my time on stage with Cirque du Soleil.

It will most likely take me January and / or February to get my feet on the ground with this new job and figure out a schedule where I can get back to consistently putting out VoidRealm Minis sculpts. I will keep answering messages and sculpting here and there as I'm able, and I'm still planning the awesome Eldertubbies kickstarter for launch early next year.

Thanks for your patience on the minis front and wish me well in this new endeavor (...if you haven't heard of Meow Wolf, look them up, they are awesome!)

120mm Dark Young Bonus!

Void Realms Kickstarter #2 Teaser

Hey Patrons,

Wanted to finally share these images with you and let you be the first to hear about this exciting project! I've been working with Jars.Drawings to bring his amazing Eldertubby series of drawings to life as 3D printable minis. These will be huge - in the 175-200mm range most likely, and we are currently developing and building out the scope of the project and determining what sculpts will be included, accessories / bases, etc.  We are for sure producing the main 4, and then possibly a few others. Will keep you updated here!

Happy Halloween! NEW Cosmic Horror available TOMORROW!

VoidRealms Patreon will be FREE for current Patrons Nov and Dec (watch video / read post below!)

Hi everyone,

I've decided to pause billing for Patreon for November and December. That means that everyone who stays with me as a Patron will not be charged for those two months, but I will continue to post updates and drop free models to Patrons in November and December.

I'm pausing the billing because VoidRealm Minis will not be offering the standard monthly bundles for November and December, and did not feel it would be appropriate to charge on Patreon for these two months. But again, stay with me! You don't have to do anything different, just know that you won't be charged for Nov or Dec, and you will get some new, free Patreon-exclusive models as well as throwbacks!

I am doing this so that I can reduce my sculpture output workload and focus on a few different things that I've been neglecting, including:

1. Growing the VoidRealm Minis community across all social media, including YouTube.

2. Developing an exciting Kickstarter collaboration project (news / teasers on that within a week hopefully!)

3. Focusing some time on my personal life and things that I have neglecting while juggling this Patreon with my full time job.

Here's a brief FAQ, if you have other questions, comment below!

Q: As a current Patron, do I need to do anything with this upcoming change?

A: Nope! Just leave everything as is and definitely don't cancel. Your membership will stay active and you'll be able to acess the Patron-only STLs offered these next two months.

A: If you sign up as a new Patron during one of these months, you will be charged the $8 USD (or $20 USD for merchants) 1-time, immediately upon sign up. New Patrons can receive any previous monthly VoidRealms release as a thank-you for joining during this time!

Q: How many models will you produce with VoidRealm Minis for Patreon these two months?

A: I'm anticipating at least 1 new mini and 1 throwback mini per month. New mini will probably be livestreamed on YouTube!
