Blue Star Episode 3 - Wip 5 - Lieutenant Krey, Voiced by Andy

Hello everyone! Another day, another WIP!

Today's is something a bit different, though. A few days ago, I was approached by someone who has done some erotic videos in the past, and has also done some voice-work besides. He made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that he was an absolutely huge fan of Blue Star, and was very interested in being able to voice a character in upcoming episodes.

At first, I didn't have anything for him, but some days went by, and an idea for a new character came to fruition: a character that could be perfectly played by this aforementioned individual.

And so, I present to you, Lieutenant Theodore Krey, the leader of a mercenary gang operating with the Blue Star organization, and a character who quickly becomes one of Liara's antagonists within the organization.

Krey will be voiced by Andy, who was himself quite a portfolio for erotic work. You can see some of his more YouTube-friendly videos on his channel, though my personal favorite is his comedy reel. (For some reason, the "new tech" skit always gets a chuckle out of me - it's just so absurd!)

Most of my work today has been involved in getting Krey ported, fitted, faceposed, and working in Source Filmmaker. You will see him in fairly minor roles in Episodes 3 and 5, though with Season 2 he will be a fair bit more of a prominent actor.

Krey's face is a custom Shepard that I found on XNALara, and the porter graciously gave him some really nice-looking custom textures.

My plan for this week is to get all of the scenes built, the Scene 1 script formalized, and hopefully get all of the audio recorded, returned, implemented, and lip-synced by next Monday. Ideally, this will mean Scene 1 will be about 90% finished - I suspect that the ass-kicking animations will need a bit of polish, but I am shooting to have them fully done and flowing otherwise.

 Theodore Krey is a no-nonsense, morally-gray ex-Alliance soldier, who elected that his gun was better off serving pay rather than government. He's a professional, from top to bottom: no attachment, no allegiance, no hesitation. If he's paid to do a job, then that job gets done to the best of his ability, no questions asked, no terms negotiated. His loyalty is to his wallet and his wallet alone, and his wallet leads him to the highest bidder - who, right now, are the Blue Star organization. But when Liara bests and humiliates him, he breaks his visage of stark professionalism, and grows a personal grudge against her - one that he's more than willing to take pleasure in when Liara elects to join the Blue Star organization, in her quest to find Shepard. Lieutenant Krey serves as the forward face of the Blue Star organization, when it comes to Liara's interactions within the group, and he is the puppet antagonist through which the Director operates.
