2025-08-09 16:26:49 +0000 UTCCongrats. Huge milestones!! I hoped for the best, but feared the worse. If your structural engineer signed off, itโs hard for the city to push back. I installed a composite deck 5 years ago because I was tired of maintaining wood. Love it. It gets hot (Iโm in full sun), but it just needs to be washed every spring. Those plugs to hide the screw holes are awesome. I was worried to colour would fade. If it has, I donโt notice it yet.

2025-08-09 16:07:21 +0000 UTCPreviously the city electrical inspector didnโt like that the pool wasnโt up to current electrical code and didnโt like the answer of โweโll get to it laterโ. I think their electrical contractor/inspector had a chat with the city about options that would allow they to keep the pool electrical out of scope.
