Puriel, on the other hand, looked completely unfazed. “Do you think I’m afraid of your challenge?” she said, her tone defiant.
“Wait,” I muttered, holding up my hands like I could physically stop the madness. “Guys, this is—this is so messed up!” I didn't expect Puriel to accept Lilieth's challenge so easily.
Ignoring my protests, Lilieth stepped closer and suddenly pulled me into a tight hug, pressing my head against her chest. “Oh, darling,” she cooed, her voice dripping with faux affection. “Don’t worry. Mommy will take care of everything.”
I cringed so hard I thought I might implode. ‘Okay, this is officially the most messed-up thing that’s ever happened to me.’ Yet, I knew it felt nice at the same time. I mean… They wanted me. They fought over me… ‘Okay, nope, nope! Stop it! I need to stop this!’
Before I could talk, Puriel spoke again, “Ha!” she barked, pointing at Lilieth. “Your tricks won’t work on me! I’ll win this challenge, and I’ll do it with dignity.”
"Dignity?" Lilieth repeated, raising an eyebrow, her tone dripping with amusement. "How quaint."
I groaned inwardly. This wasn’t just spiraling out of control—it had already fallen into a bottomless pit of chaos. My short-circuited brain could only manage a feeble, “What dignity of a… sex battle?!” The words tasted wrong coming out of my mouth, but they were the only thing I could muster.
Before I could even blink, Lilieth wrapped her arms around me again, pulling my head firmly into her chest like it was the most natural thing in the world. This time, she held me tighter, her voice soft but dripping with a smug tone. “Shhh, don’t say anything. You just need to be quiet and enjoy it.”
This… was not new. Let’s be honest, Lilieth is a succubus and my mom after all. But the fact that she was saying all of this so casually here, in the middle of the human world? Yeah, that wasn’t normal by human standards.
From the kitchen, Celia’s voice cut. “Good luck, brother. I’ll make you snacks.”
“Celia—” I started, trying to use her as some sort of lifeline, but before I could finish, Lilieth snapped her fingers. A sudden pull of energy surrounded me, and in an instant, I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed. My bedroom. Now the scene of… whatever this was.
Lilieth was beside me, her eyes gleaming with mischief, as if this was some grand game she was destined to win. Before I could even process what had just happened, there was a second burst of energy, and Puriel appeared on my other side, her arms crossed and her wings shimmering with a soft light. Her expression was calm, but the tension in her posture was anything but it.
Puriel turned to Lilieth, her gaze sharp. “You don’t seriously think you have a chance, do you?”
Lilieth smirked, not even bothering to look at her. “A chance? Darling, I’ve already won.”
Puriel scoffed, stepping closer. “This isn’t a game, demon. This is about trust, loyalty, and—”
“Sex appeal,” Lilieth interrupted smoothly, cutting her off with a sly grin. “And, let’s be honest, my leagues ahead of you in that department.”
I raised a hand weakly. “Can we… not?” I didn’t know what I felt anymore. But yeah, I was kinda horny with all of this. A bit, just a bit.
They ignored me completely. Puriel’s wings flared slightly as she leaned closer to Lilieth. “You think this is about looks? How shallow.”
“Oh, sweet angel,” Lilieth said with a laugh. “It’s not just about looks. It’s about experience. And let’s face it, you’re out of your depth.”
Before Puriel could respond, she reached over and grabbed my head, pulling it against her chest with a determined grip. “He’s my partner. That bond is deeper than anything you could ever hope to achieve.”
I could feel the heat rising in my face as I was suddenly caught between her soft, warm… mounds. My voice came out muffled as I tried to speak. “Guys—”
Lilieth, not to be outdone, reached over and yanked me back toward her, my head now firmly pressed against her own ample chest. “Oh, please,” she said, her tone dripping with mockery. “He’s my son. That connection goes far beyond whatever ‘partnership’ you think you have.”
Puriel’s grip tightened, pulling me back toward her side. “A son is not a partner, demon. You’re crossing a line.”
“And you’re overstepping,” Lilieth shot back, reclaiming my head with a triumphant grin. “Know your place, angel.”
I didn’t know whether to be honored, horrified, or just plain exhausted. “Okay, seriously. Can we not fight over me like a chew toy?” And yeah, I was getting hornier! F*ck! Why did this chaos feel nice to me? I should have stopped them, yet here I was… letting them pull my face to their chest over and over again.
They both ignored me—again—and continued their verbal sparring as if I weren’t even there. Puriel pointed a finger at Lilieth, her wings flaring even more. “You don’t understand the depth of our connection. It’s built on trust, mutual respect, and—”
“Passion,” Lilieth interjected, smirking. “And let’s face it, passion is where you fall flat.”
Puriel’s eyes narrowed, her tone icy. “Passion is meaningless without substance.”
“And substance is boring without passion,” Lilieth countered with a wink. “It’s called balance, darling. Something you clearly lack.”
My head bounced between the two of them like a ping-pong ball as they kept pulling me back and forth, their arguments growing louder and more ridiculous by the second. At one point, Puriel grabbed my face and squished it between her hands, glaring at Lilieth with a look that could probably incinerate mountains.
“You don’t even belong here!” Puriel snapped, her voice sharp and commanding. “You’re the one overstepping!”
“Oh, overstepping, am I?” Lilieth shot back, her tone light but laced with venom. “Last I checked, I’m his mother, which gives me every right to be here.”
