VPL Thong
Added 2026-01-28 19:12:00 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to make a thong for a while, based on user request, but I wasn't sure how it would work out. TS4 can only handle so much detail in small spaces, so to compromise I had to make the fabric in the butt region a bit wider than you might see in real life. Still, I think it's turned out pretty well!
The thong uses my standard VPL shape, and is available for male sims as well as female sims with a masculine frame.
You can find the thong in both the Sleep and Swimwear outfit categories, under either the Underwear or Swimwear subcategories. It is is available in 15 swatches.
CHANGELOG:
2026-01-26: Updated the mesh for better compatibility with my new accessory chaps. The fix stops the chaps texture from showing on the upper inner corners of the thighs (the comparison picture highlights the problem), as well as making tattoos/body hair display more correctly and consistently.
2024-10-04: Updated the textures to fix issues with suntanning. The issue caused parts of the body not to tan correctly, leaving bad tanned/untanned seams across the penis; the new version allows the thong to correctly show which parts of the sim are tanned and untanned. Also, added an extra 5 swatches to the thong.
A before-after comparison of the tanning issue and a preview of the new swatches are available in the attached pictures.

It doesn't needs to be huge, but it could be good.. at least for photos (Yeah, I use to do sexy photoshots of my sims).

The tough thing with transparent - assuming you mean in the front so you can see the penis - is that people play with all kinds of different penises, shapes, foreskins, etc - and it's impossible to make one design that works for all of those penises sadly.

There are two issues to consider: 1) How the hard-on bends when the sim moves their legs (I tried making a bulge that pointed left once and it crumpled when the sim walked and looked bad) 2) If the penis itself is seen, making something that works for all the different penis styles I can consider it, just not something that's the easiest to pull off in my opinion.
