I know I already left 2 goddamn paragraphs, but since this is my official (re)start to watching these, I would like to add that I like how you pointed out the scene with Izuku with the black background and the light path he was on, trying to figure out if there really was some meaning being it. I just commented on your jjk S2E5 reaction about the scene you pointed out in that ep. It’s cool.

I still remember when Bleach was going to air (I’d been reading the manga). I was sooo excited! And when I heard his voice, I just felt it suited Ichigo so well. Currently watching the new season in Sub, cause that’s what’s available and because I was so excited that they brought it back. You should totally react to Bleach. Just skip all the filler. Oh, and yes, the music in MHA is really good. I would be interested to see you react to the music in Bleach as well.

I never thought I would like this anime, but my sis got hooked cause of her bf so it made me curious cause she kind of a picky anime watcher. And right off the bat I found Izuku to be so endearing. But definitely at the end of this ep. I knew I was invested. I was laughing when you said the villain could have Bakugo. I didn’t like him at all at first and then I was like, he can’t really be that bad and I held onto hope for him. Eventually my hope was not wasted. I can’t wait to see you react to the rest of the show! I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!

Bakugou is a very rude, dislikable kid in the beggining, but in this episode particularly, the heroes praised him for holding on tight in such a terrible situation, imagine being suffocated for minutes and having to create your own few opportunities to breathe and remain conscious, that's really tough. Also, I cry every damn time at the end of this episode. Deku's cry of relief messes up my very core.

2022-07-02 17:03:30 +0000 UTChey joey as for the smiling when izuku was told he didn't have a quirk, it's just for comedic effect (used in lots of japanese animation). also MHA is a pretty chill show when it comes to the details, unlike AoT. So I think there won't be much symbolism to look out for!

ALSO I know you like DBZ and all might is the same voice actor as Vegeta in English so that's pretty cool. Pls react to dub

This anime is definitely more fun than AOT and Demon Slayer, but you'll still find some darkness and emotional moments too. I think you'll definitely enjoy this one!
