First of all: Happy new year! When I hear ancient ice ruins I imagine rare, alien or old and dirty ice formations, surrounding dark and weathered stones with carvings none is able to understand anymore. Glyphs and symbols that could tell a tale of ancient horrors none remembers. The ice spikes piercing through a thin layer of snow, footprints of someone or something frozen for eternity. Dirty glacier ice melting partially leaving grime on bubbling formations.
