YouTube Takedown and Next Steps

YouTube removed my main channel yesterday amidst the Mattel takedown of Thomas content on the site. The reason given is because The Unlucky Tug used the same email as other channels I made years ago that had episode uploads on them. The channels were "Thomas et Ses Emis Classique" which had a bunch of French dubs up, and "トーマス クラシック エピソー (Thomas Classic Episodes), which had a bunch of Japanese dubs up. Mattel struck both channels, and in response YouTube swooped everything associated with that email.
Never thought this would happen. It's honestly very scary and I'm not exactly sure what happens now. It's frustrating because of how little communication Google/YouTube gave to me about it - no warnings or notices. I'm holding out hope I can get this sorted out with YouTube and reinstate the main channel at the very least. Needless to say, all new content is on hold until I figure this out.
I have sent an appeal email and am waiting for a response. In the meantime, I'm going to sit on Google's live chat and try to get somewhere.
I want to thank you all for your support during this crappy time, you guys are the best. Let's stay positive and keep our fingers crossed! If you really want to help, the best you can do it make a stink about it on social media - let's get YouTube's attention!

YouTube why did you take down unlucky tug’s YouTube channel I was working on the directors cut of Thomas and the magic railroad and I need the everything is explained video to know what deleted scenes weren’t in the work print. Now the the last I want to say is, YouTube im gonna ask you please bring back unlucky tug’s channel.

2023-03-18 19:50:34 +0000 UTCI was thinking last night, you've probably brought a significant number of adult fans back into the Thomas Fandom, Tug. I watched TTTE in the early 90's as Shining Time Station and my sister had the old Brio wooden train sets. I hadn't given Thomas much thought since then until my son started showing interest and I decided to check it out again. It was your channel that finally got me hooked and appreciating what Thomas is, what it was, and why it isn't that anymore. I doubt Mattel realizes they probably owe you for bringing this fandom to a wider population.
