This was one of those things that I wanted to do as an omake (a tiny doodle at the end of the comic) in EP9, and then it turned into this whole thing accidentally. Which is to say... enjoy!
I hope the distinction between the flashback and the current-day are obvious enough, but if anyone was confused, let me know, and I can maybe add something between the panels to make it more clear.
Thank you so much for this series. In addition to it being wonderfully drawn and in character, one of my favorite parts is getting to be with Rose as she was after the war. She's one of my favorite characters period and you've really nailed how nuanced she is. Bravo a thousand times

The awkwardness you show in Rose there is so good; I love it.

That's not a bad idea! Might do that :)

They haven't found it yet, and although Rose knows a lot about humans, How To Use the Bathroom has not really been revealed to her yet. Greg explains a lot of things, but he won't explain that. 😂 Although amethyst probably knows....

I like the effect used on the flashback, it makes it feel more... printed?

One thing you could try, if you wanted to make the transition betwen flashback/present day more obvious, is making the outside of the panels around the flashback black? That's what they usually do in manga, at least. (This is just a suggestion though, feel free to ignore it. I could tell the difference enough as-is)

I can't believe Rose tried to enter the toilet. I mean I thought she learn enough about humans after the war but I mean they did isolate themselves from everyone, except Greg. I wonder if they found Buddy's Journal?
