Happy (?) New Year!
Added 2020-12-26 12:02:34 +0000 UTCI wanted to make a little holiday/new year's themed doodle this year as well, but it's been a heck of a year for all of us, the gems included. It's not canon that the Beach City Arrival happened on the same day as New Year's, but I figure that someone WOULD be setting off fireworks anyways, because.. well, people are like that around the holidays.
Figured this would be more in line with what the year has been. Feel free to download these as desktop backgrounds! I'll post em on the Patreon Discord channel for ease of downloading.

Although its interesting that the least bothered-looking one there is her. Steven seems more freaked out about the idea of sealing away Jasper than she does. An interesting idea maybe; Bismuth is never freed or refuses to forgive Rose and goes off to live in the wilderness, the reveal of Rose's real identity is what gets Jasper on the Crystal Gems as this AU replacement.

2020-12-27 11:51:13 +0000 UTCOh right, the Cluster! I can't believe I almost forgot the Cluster. Since the motivations of the characters are so much different, seeing how will the Cluster arc going, and how the relationship between Lapis, Peridot and Steven will change would be very interesting!

Will they inform other Homeworld gems come to Earth? Or get angry to destroy planet Earth? What about treating Jasper? Just let her be in the bubble to be safe? Or talk to her about adapting Earth life? These are my imagination, but I suppose Crystal Gems will have to deal LOTS of problem after this. Just hope they can take a break a bit... Always love your awesome art work, and take a well deserved break!
