life - I saw you in my dream last night

I've been sick the past couple days (not covid, just feels like a cold or something). pretty unusual for me as I never get sick and never had seasonal allergies. my head has just been hurting and I feel so much pressure inside my ears, and this is making me 0% capable of mixing any music. also I work on a train which is really fucking loud. the point is my ears are kinda useless right now but that's not stopping me from declaring that this song is done and ready for you to listen. like I said in the previous post I'm going to be leaving the country soon for about three weeks and in that time I won't be able to work on music (I mean I can record some things but all my songs are going to be at home and I definitely won't be releasing anything) so I kinda just want to release this now before having to wait an excruciating amount of time again. I hate not releasing music and I hate having unreleased music. if this sounds terrible right now then whenever it gets officially released on bandcamp it'll sound better, but I won't really know until my ears get better. this is going to be on a future "demo five". this song was started on january 14 2018 11:11 pm. back then all I did was track the guitars. it wouldn't be until about a month ago that I actually track the drums, and earlier this month in august I recorded the bass, wrote lyrics, and added vocals. if I had actually finished this song back in 2018 it would be a completely different story because "I saw you in my dream last night" is relevant to right now, august 2021. I think the title and the lyrics should spell it out clearly what this song is about. if you've ever been heartbroken and in love you know what it's like to see someone everywhere, and how bittersweet it can be to dream about them. the lyrics were genuinely written a day after having a certain dream that I won't ever forget.
