Added 2018-09-01 07:18:14 +0000 UTCFor the third month in a row, Patreon is giving me trouble. It's starting to become a hinderance between me and my customers and is leading to more harm than good. If my account receives a fraudulent payment, my payouts are frozen and I cant get money off the site until its reviewed. I've paid hundreds in late fees over the past few months because of this. Just a heads up, if this keeps happening I will have to put an end to the subscription service and just do monthly commission drawings outside of Patreon.
Regardless, I'm going to keep it around to fund personal projects and things. I just cant keep having this roadblock in place for a majority of my income and work.
Nothing is changing right now, but if this happens again next month I will have to switch to a new model.
As a side note, if the person making fraudulent payments is reading this, PLEASE stop and do not do this to any other creators ever.
