First, thank you to all loyal Patrons and welcome to all new Patrons. I hope you are happy here. I do need to alert you to an important change I'm going to make, however.

"Piracy" is a major sticking point for me. While it was not the only reason I dropped Mindshift (my first game), it was the incident that caused me to all out swear it off in disgust and not come back for years.

While the situation with Bloodshift is not the same as Mindshift-- the development process has been designed with piracy as a factor-- some echoes of MS are starting to be heard and I intend to head that off now.

So, effective immediately, this Patreon is switching to a per month basis, which allows me to charge an upfront fee for new Patrons. This will represent a much more frequent rate of charge than the $4-$9 most of you have been paying per 3-4 months. However, this does mean that I can:

Update the game more frequently
Downshift the benefits so more people can have them
Maybe make enough money that I can keep doing this and still marry my wifegirl

If you care about my work then I promise the last one is a good thing for you. This is a hurdle I've been trying to figure out how to cross, and this might make it so I don't have to choose.

So, the tiers from now on will work as follows:
