I don't know about anyone else, but I really didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. I always appreciate people sharing their thoughts, and I DO think most new things suck, but I'm not going to pretend I don't like something because of that. This was fun, it was exciting, it felt like a BHC movie, so that's good enough for me!

For me, there are times when I face a situation with my own kids that explains something that happened to me with my parents and I suddenly understand their side of it. All these years later. It's wild. Hugs πŸ’œ

I think it was a great sequel. Your daddy daughter analysis is spot on. I'm waiting to see if my daughter comes to revelation that yeah, my job kept me away, but it was so she could grow up not needing. She's only 19..so I'm gonna let her get thru her 20s and see. I'm just disappointed, as well as tainted, because I made that realization at 15. I knew my parents were struggling..so I got a fcking job and bought my own sh1t. But that was 1982..as we have discussed before, it was just different environment. Once again, great reaction. There is no such thing as too much sarcasm! Lol

I swear, the helicopter scene, the music was just a little reminiscent of the AIRWOLF theme song. If they do a remake of Airwolf. I could see JLG flying that. His character was super fun in this film.

The more negativity I see about it, the more baffled I am. There's a huge difference between going into something expecting it to be bad, and actively looking for things to be mad about. I think people want to see certain things now and they're letting that ruin everything for them. It's sad. I'm glad I gave it a chance first!

Yeah, I actually had no expectations of this and only watched it today because I got your email about it yesterday. I was the wangsty teenager who blamed his Dad for his life not being perfect, forgetting that he moved to the opposite side of the planet to be with his young wife and their son. He had major depression while I was growing up but now, almost 20 years after he died, he is one of my heroes. This movie took everything great about BHC and refreshed it, all while telling a heartfelt new story about taking responsibility and accountability for your own choices. I loved it!

I think it says something when they manage to get everyone back like that, that there's love and care put into the project and it comes through in the final product.

Same thoughts as me, thought it would be terrible and it was entertaining and funny. Way better than part 3 and loved they brought back everyone from the OG cast that had not passed away.
