They are the best liaisons for nobility and lords, but only for as long as they remain in favor of the upper circles they attain.
The lower "class" of courtesans or 'Alleyway Jills' come from poor backgrounds or fallen social status. The most diversity can be found at this level as rates are affordable and tastes have little repercussion as they would for those holding position.
