Here's my book
Added 2025-03-16 17:56:50 +0000 UTCRepeater Books has been taken over by a venture capitalist with investments in Israel who has suppressed pro-Palestine sentiments, and I don't want purchases of my book to support that piece of shit, so I'm attaching a full free copy of my book, How to Philosophize With a Hammer and Sickle. It'll be our secret. Enjoy!

And an interesting related topic might be Marx's discussion of the functions of bureaucracy.

2025-03-19 04:08:28 +0000 UTCI look forward to reading the whole thing but did enjoy jumping to the pages on Marx's theory of the state. I'd love to see you do something more on Marx's portrayal of the democratic processes that you describe as "constant destruction of state power." I have never read anything to suggest Marx more than gestured at what socialism and communism would or could be. This was probably smart of him. But from what we know, might it be accurate to say that Marx basically envisioned the dictator of the proletariate as devolving to a condition of perpetual municipal and workplace participatory democracy? What is the history of the non-Soviet thinkers and practitioners who didn't just critique and analyze capitalism, but sought envision, conceive, and practice a socialism or communism that remotely matches Marx's gestures?
