Does anyone here watch Any Austin?
Added 2025-02-17 03:39:31 +0000 UTCKind of an unusual question, but Any Austin has recently become one of my favorite gaming YouTubers, to the point where I'm considering making a philosophy video on some of his content. I just love the way he uses video games in ways completely unintended by the developers, and how he approaches video games as aesthetic phenomena, focusing on aspects of them that are supposed to be unimportant or external to the gameplay. Wondering if anyone else here has watched his videos, and if you'd be interested in me talking about them.

stealing my partners account to say that i adore any austin's videos, especially the ones about hydrology. he had a unique perspective with interacting with video game worlds, he always treats it with a seriousness or a "realness" that makes playing games fun, pretending you're in a world that has its own logic, it's own hydrology, its own unemployment rate. its kind of the opposite of the zoomed out video essay or review kind of video, which makes any austins videos unique imo. would love to see a video about it
