FOV - Chad walk
Added 2022-11-11 20:00:09 +0000 UTCSo in order to use the Mega Chad chin filter (as well as the baby filter used at the beginning of the short), I had to record myself on my phone within the TikTok app. Typically, I record shorts on my DSLR, but since you can't add face effects and filters to pre-recorded clips I had to use the app.
In order to get around TikTok adding a watermark to my saved video. I screen-recorded this playback, cropped out the UI, then keyed out the greenscreen. I was impressed with how good it still looked in the final edit (even with me using the front-facing camera on my phone). And even saw a few comments from people thinking it was my real chin π
Anyways, this clip is just a small segment of a much longer one (which is typically the case), of me just walking and making faces till I found the right one. It's my solution to not being a classically-trained actor: doing as many takes as possible.
