EARLY ACCESS: DIY Hormone Therapy: Everything I Can Legally Tell You ("basically a podcast" edition)

Hey folks!! Here's a cut of my DIY HRT video, with an important caveat: this version has zero flourishes. The final cut will have lots of stuff happening on screen (info boxes, sources, little jokes), and I haven't added that in yet. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape, so I figure this version's good for anyone who primarily listens to videos while doing other stuff.

I wanted to get this your way now because omg... it's been so long since I uploaded!! And I'm so excited!! I'll have a more advanced cut your way later this week – hopefully the final one.

(Forgive the atrocious thumbnail draft... don't worry I'm rethinking)

Thanks for collecting all the relevant inormation in one place, and sharing it. No doubt someone in need will find it, and will be life-saving. I totally echo the idea that anyone with a skill or privilege shall share at least some amount of it for the better good. Citizen science is cool. Local communities are magic. Support matters.

Phenomenally important work! In New Zealand rn it's been super relaxed for a couple years but we're just starting to see the start of fearmongering about puberty blockers etc and I can't imagine how terrifying it's gotta be for the countries that're a little further along in the descent into fascism. Taking notes I hope I'll never need. On a lighter note I wanna highlight "pressure cooker in a punk house" which was absolutely DELIGHTFUL

Ah, I've been super excited for this one since you teased it! And to commiserate, I had my doctor ghost me last year too when I moved. Oof, that was a few anxiety inducing weeks. Thanks for all your work, Lily. :)

You brought up that quote comparing heroin to hormones as being anti-trans, but I choose to read it as pro-heroin.

I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for meeting the moment. At some point we will look back on this moment as the historic disgrace that it is. Accessible care and bodily autonomy should both be human rights. People who make this more attainable are without exaggeration living heroes.
