EARLY ACCESS: Trans Youth Vs. Healthcare, episodes 1 & 2

In the works since January, I’m finally finishing up my series with Trans Pulse Canada on trans youth and healthcare.

Here are the first two episodes! The only thing left to do is finish adding music, so this is basically their completed state.

Episode 1 (“TRANS YOUTH: What Do We Want?”) starts at 0:00, and episode 2 (“Trans Youth See a Doctor Challenge (Impossible)”) starts at 11:38.

Episode 3 is the longest and easily my favourite, but I want to make sure it’s nice and polished before sharing.

I’ll be releasing an episode a day starting tomorrow, and after the last episode premieres on Monday, we’ll go live for a couple hours, celebrate and take questions! You can ring the bell here so you don’t miss it.

In conclusion -

Woooo!! We did it!!!

Lily, your writing has gotten sharper and your presentation more charismatic with every video (and both started off remarkable). I can't imagine how much preparation must go into each of these. (Not to mention that they have a way of making me feel things that I sometimes have a hard time finding names for.) p.s. really hope the occasionally twitter replygirlism isn't unwelcome. I'm having fun with it, at least. ;)

Yeah, I hear you!! A close friend and I started hormones the same week (he was 16 at the time) and we were the only people we knew who’d gotten on them. Amazing that it was possible at all, but it was really tough for a solid couple years since we were in school, surrounded by people who didn’t get it!

Thanks so much, Gwen ☺️💜

You were on hormones at 17!? When I was 17 one cis guy came out as gay and wow that was a thing back then! (I mean, we were all on hormones but just then ones we got like it or not...) *These days* every one on facebook is super supportive but I still don't think that it would have gone as well had I tried to say I was a girl in 1988 or so...

As a fellow trans youth, though I guess former now as I’ve just aged out, I really appreciated this video. I’m from the states but it’s been interesting to see how similar the barriers mentioned here were to my own experiences as a teen. I have felt for a while that our experiences aren’t really represented much and I’m glad to have found this space you’ve made. It’s always so refreshing to see your perspective, so I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work!

Thanks! I didn’t actually know what it was called, so you’ve taught me something lol

Love your prayer plant by the way
