Overdue April update

So A LOT has happened. Every time I sat down to make an update, more and more kept happening. Here we finally are.

This is probably going to be a long sappy update, so I apologize ahead of time.

Roughly a year ago I set up this patreon not knowing really anything about what the future would bring. My life was very uncertain and there were big changes happening for me. You may remember me moving out the first time. It was hard and extremely stressful but it made way for this patreon to be possible. I can't believe it's been a year since that and you have no idea how much it meant to me to have all of you supporting me in this project. I've had the best time doing something I love and getting to express myself in a way I didn't think I'd ever get a chance to. I just want to say thank you. You and my entire community got me out of a horrible situation and basically made it possible to actually live my life for the first time. You all stuck with me through moving again and everything going on in my life. I couldn't be more grateful. 

Reading this back, I realize this sounds like a goodbye. IT'S NOT! We aren't stopping any time soon. I just want to say a proper thanks. 

Some of you may know, in early March there was a hiccup with my visa. Right, before April we got it sorted and sent it off. Queue the most stressful and yet amazing birthweek/day I think I have ever had on April 4th. (Yay! I'm 25!) Then on April 7th, a letter came to tell me that as of March 31st 2020 - March 31st 2022, I am now a resident of the Netherlands. 

I can say without a doubt, this has been the best week of my life. I'm finally free. I feel as if a world has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't have this dark cloud hanging over me anymore. The future has never felt so bright for me. 

Going forward to the future then! I'm going to be trying to polish up the page and update everything. Patreon has recommended I get rid of the $1 tier, I'd love your input on that. Honestly, I'm open to loads of ideas for the coming year.  

I know there is a lot going on in the world right now. Truthfully, I'm still trying to figure out this months set as stores have only recently been opening back up. A lot is still closed and online orders are a bit all over the place. I've been understandably overwhelmed the past week with all the news but I promise there will be a set. This may be a month where we show off some dresses or bring out the sets I had planned for much later in the year. I also have a sneaky suspicion that working with photographers in the near future might be a no go with the virus. The Netherlands remains in soft lockdown until May. As always, I promise to keep you in the loop.
