October Update - Cursed Gem Colours, OnlyFiends (WIP) + More

Lots to share today!
Still hard at work on my game! I get to share another exciting one this month, the titular cursed gems themselves. >:3

Doing the gem shading was a challenge, in order to get the effect i researched gem cuts, and the way that light passes through gems to the back facets picking up colour along the way and i'm very happy with the result.
The part i'm most proud of is fitting all of the gems into a shared <64 colour pallet, which is pretty low given the variety of colours and shades i'm representing. The whole game in fact should be only 64 colours. Next step is all of the portrait variations for the actual curses themselves, and how they stack, combine. This is the last big art push before i try to sort out programming and music more seriously, which may take a few months.
I'm also working on a new mockup serious (WIP!)


ATM they are just basic planning. I don't want to spoil to much, but they will be static mockup ups, 8 colours, four in total and possibly lead into a bigger work.
Other things i'm working on is a collab game with dear friend Charity! (WIP)

Also just UI and planning stage atm for this one, going to add layers of greenery and water and then shade it like wet plastic. :3
Beyond games i've been working on a bunch of designs for my book collab with Patrick! Most of them are still at a pretty early phase and i still haven't figured out how the final illustrations will look but i'm excited with the direction.

Oh and some final small sketches just messing around with some aesthetics and a birthday sketch for Charity!
