2019-07-18 05:41:46 +0000 UTCThese chapters have given me an insight into a type of trauma I will never have the context to experience as a man. I think that alone makes this great literature. The corruption of a pleasurable act and the shame and revulsion at oneself and the incident has never really clicked for me before reading this. Although I'm sure many nuances get lost in translating to a male perspective. Masterfully done.
