(Reports go from the day after the last report's chapter/batch was posted to the day the more recent chapter/batch was posted, mostly to ensure that there's as little undercounting/overcounting as possible.)
The last chapter of May was published on the 7th of June, so the May period covers all writing done May 1st to June 7th, a period of 37 days. In that time, 11 chapters totaling 72,313 words were posted. The average was 1,954 words per day, with an average chapter length of 6,573 words.
Up from last month. The biggest difference, aside from summer weather making me much more chipper and giving me extra energy, was that
The Council of Arches side story had about 10K words written for it, plus another 2K for the rules. This was more word count than I had planned to spend on that, largely because there were a few places that I thought I was rushing too much, and in revisiting, I expanded a few sections. All that work was done in two extremely productive days, and I was overall pleased with the results.
