Who to artisize?

I have a question for the Mythicists! There have been so many examples written in Mythic Magazine, both small and Big examples, that I feel like I've missed a beat by not having Jorge make art for some of it. A few subjects have found their way from text to art, such as the mage's frog assistant and Brizas, but my question to you is ... which character do you remember from an example that you'd love to see Jorge make artwork for?

I can't do this as a poll, since that would limit the choices. I don't know what characters from examples stand out in Mythicist memories. So, I'm asking for you to comment below if there's a character from an example you remember whose name you'd like to throw into the ring. I'll pick one of those and include it in a future art request to Jorge, then get it in the magazine in a followup example from how they appeared previously.

So, what character do you think should receive the artification treatment?

Ohhh, you mean the cover image of issue #2? The city setting with the interesting little alien folks in it. That's a great idea! Yeah, I rarely connect Big Examples to the cover art. Which, is kind of a shame, I know. I usually try to link the art to an article topic. My reasoning for not using it inside is I don't want to repeat the cover art again. However ... I could always ask Jorge to make the cover, and make another piece of art that goes with the cover, and use that for a Big Example. I did this in issue #47 because I wanted to use the kids on the cover as art in the mystery example. Okay, the more I think about this the more I like it :) Time for a policy change; I'll ask Jorge to include a piece of accompanying art with the cover to use it with a Big Example inside. Let's see how that goes for the next few issues. Thank you for pointing out the Big Example in issue #2. "Bayou On A Moonbeam" was one of my favorite examples to write. It's rare that a play example gets me emotional or choked up, but that one did.

While we are talking about inspiration from past things, how about turning things around a bit? Especially in the earlier magazines, the illustrations on the title pages rarely referenced any example/big example. How about you trying to write big examples inspired by those title pages. For instance, I was always intrigued by the title page of issue 2. That issue also has one of the most memorable big examples, but that example did not relate in any way to the title page. I would really love to see a big example containing that scene from the title page.

Those are great examples :) I'd forgotten about Tumnus, but now that you say that I remember having fun writing it. I seem to recall you pointing out before my penchant for spidery things in my examples lol

There are actually two from the Red Book: 1. The metallic spider ambushing Eran and Sera in the gear room in the Tomb of Tumnus. The absolutely unforgettable example from the book. And 2. Gloranna with her soul-eating sword from the Extended Example.
