Progress Journal, January 2025, #1

Greetings Mythicists! I hope your year has gotten to a good start, and the people in your campaign settings are celebrating :)

Here's a peek at what's been going on here lately ...

New Formats For Mythic GME 2e
Mythic Game Master Emulator 2e is appearing in a few new formats and to some new audiences. It's not exactly on a march toward global conquest, just slowly reaching out into new communities. The offset press edition is now for sale at Modiphius and soon through Indie Press Revolution. Need Games has come out with an Italian language edition, and Spanish and Portuguese language versions are in the works and should appear soon (soon being in 2025, I expect). It's very cool seeing the book reach wider audiences and get treated to new editions, with the added possibility of appearing in brick and mortar game stores.

Mythic RPG 2e Combat & Art
I'm still currently working on the combat section of Mythic Roleplaying Second edition. I'm trying to simplify it as much as possible and have it feel similar to how other portions of the game works. I also got a batch of new artwork from Jorge that looks amazing, you can catch a glimpse above at the alien looking flute player :) Thank you to playtesters of MRPG2e who have been giving me excellent feedback!

Compilations Are Compiling
I'm starting work on Mythic Magazine Compilation #8, and #7 should be getting the POD treatment soon on DGTRPG. It's amazing that the magazine has entered its fifth year and keeps going strong!
