Spent my morning figuring out a new OC that caters to my specific tastes, as goofy as they might be.
This character is intended to be a kobold. However, her design is basically a mix of various popular ideas on what a kobold is (If you've been around the bend on fantasy creature designs then you know what I'm talking about). This particular design of a kobold focuses on the lizard-like interpretation, but also holds some ideas from the more dog-like ideas of them with the ears and fluff around the head and tail tip. She's still short, like any kobold, but I like this mix of interpretations the best out of any of them for some reason.
Either way, I'm still figuring out this character and I do hope you enjoy these early glimpses of her. As a bonus note about her in terms of that big weapon she's got: I've taken large inspiration about it from the "swordspears" from Elden Ring, a type of weapon that doesn't really exist IRL but is an interesting enough concept for me to try my hand at it. In the second sketch it's a bit more established, but the idea behind the weapon is that it can act as a sword, spear, and hammer all at once (The counterweight to the swordspear side acting as a bludgeoning weapon). It's definitely a fun idea, but I'm gonna have to work on it more.
The next step for me with this character is not only refinement, but also making a ref sheet so that her design can be solidified.
