Added 2022-11-17 08:52:55 +0000 UTCI felt like doing something different all of a sudden, when I saw this commercial come by again and again. Since we legalised gambling, online or offline, commercials to get us gambling are virtually flooding the screens. This one particularly stands out because there's no real dialogue. The scene cuts right after the blonde says her line (which is pretty accurate represented here, be it translated from dutch) and the brunette just sits there. Made me wonder what she would have said given the chance. So, no noodity. Go figure that. Just some satiric cartoon. And every time I see it come by, I think of different lines for the brunette. Actually quite fun 😁
I don't mind that gambling's legal now, mind you. I think if you like that sort of thing you should be able to. But the number of commercials to get people to gamble is staggering and in my view gambling operations may be legal but may rarely be legit.
I wouldn't be surprised at all, if it were in the hands of some really shady organisations. I would be surprised if it wasn't. Pretty good way to launder money, I suppose.
