Cavepeople Process (XL)
Added 2022-09-22 09:45:53 +0000 UTCI recorded the process of my work on Cavepeople. Not to the point where it's completely finished though, because that would really make it a heavy file, but to a point where the painting process would become rather boring for most watchers, because I would get into the smallest detail which is a terrible time consuming thing (can take days).
However, if this works, like I'm hoping it will, I can do this more often and if I keep the actual image simpler, I could even go on until the very end.
Please, let me know if you have trouble downloading it or if there are any other issues not going right. I'm guessing downloading it via phone might cause problems already because it's a 2 GB file (compressed in zip, larger unzipped). But it should work on desktop machines.
If the link isn't active (because I pasted it in a text post and not in a video -or link post, as they did not work right or required linking Vimeo) you can just copy and paste it in a browser.
I tried that and it worked on my end. You'll go to my personal wetransfer page and it'll prompt you to download. The link will be available for 4 weeks.
I can't tell if the link in this post is active yet. It might get clickable when I post. This is not a WYSIWYG (whatyouseeiswhatyouget) interface, I'm afraid.
I did not speed it the video up to make the file smaller. I thought it might be more comprehensible if I posted the real time version. Mind you, it's just a first so it might need some improving when I do it more often, but at this point I don't even know if it's appreciated or if there's stuff you would want to see that I haven't included this time.
Feedback would be welcome! Thanks

As it turns out, the link is clickable. At least that works well 😊
