Eva (XL)

Often it's just wishful thinking because of distance, standing, popularity or background but, if I can, I paint them at least once anyway. Just because there's something out of the ordinary about them. I like to give it a try at least. Some are interesting because they're just different, intense, mysterious, exotic or striking, some just seem more difficult to paint right. I saw Eva van de Wijdeven in a movie I usually wouldn't watch because it was a Dutch comedy movie. It was pretty good, and funny too ("Housewives don't exist" or in Dutch; "Huisvrouwen bestaan niet") but Eva made it better, being a great actress and also being really sexy and sensual. She combined all the properties I mentioned above. SO...Sorry, Eva, I just had to paint this.
When I was halfway happy with it, I thought it might need some improving by adding an extra. But it doesn't. It was a waste of time to try more or less. The extra is too pretty to just delete so I'm adding her anyway, but I post Eva as a solo subject as well. She doesn't really need an extra in my opinion.
I tried to find good reference photos of her and found out that way, that she gave up acting to focus on things that interested her more, some time ago. That's a loss for Dutch cinema.
