Finishing up Akagi^2 #17, should be out tomorrow
Added 2020-04-22 05:04:16 +0000 UTCI have a really bad track record when it comes to me saying "it'll be out tomorrow!" and then I don't finish it, but I'm pretty sure I will. It's all laid out and most of the artwork and toning done already.
20 patrons! Wow. I want you all to know how much I appreciate this. Thank you for supporting my work. Yostar is really going all out for this Crimson Echoes re-run, and with an animated promo featuring Akagi-chan! When that little gem dropped, several folks messaged me asking me what I thought of it. I think it's fantastic that Yostar is going through all of this effort for Amagi's event because they know just how much Amagi means to North American players... of whom awarded her the most popular ship against Bismarck, who, God bless her, was also running on the momentum of the single greatest music video since Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer". And this was the very first EN poll! Amagi REALLY resonated with the western player base, and Yostar apparently knows how much EN loves the whole Fox family, so they're throwing in Tosa and Akagi-chan into this event as well.
This past week saw me moving house which is why I couldn't update. I'm still cleaning up after moving and getting everything ready, but the expect the next comic tomorrow. Thanks for your support!

Definitely. It's going to take a while before that ever happens, because I will have to not only see how Tosa plays out in the game, but also how the players interpret Tosa as well. This will be kind of difficult with Tosa because it appears there's no new story material for her from this rerun of Crimson Echoes. Even though Akagi^2 is just a fancomic, I do my best to make sure what I'm doing can work comfortably within the Azur Lane canon; and if there's no new story direction for Tosa, I run the risk of anticipating what canon will be only to find out later it's something different.
