A new cover! And an update on 107
Added 2021-03-06 03:52:25 +0000 UTCHey everybody. So first thing first, we got a new cover!!! This was a piece I commissioned from an artist known as Jefferymoonworm who I think did a great job. We have a whole committee of people in the discord server who helped come up with the concept and suggest changes and fixes, so that's just one more reason to link up your discord account to patreon if you have one.
As for 107 and my planned vacation, I sent what I believe will be the final pass of 107 to DemiImp a handful of days ago, but he has not had the opportunity to look at it. He's been busy moving, and now there has been a personal emergency that might take him out of operation for some while longer. He's going to try to read it this weekend. I will post 107 as soon as we can take this final step.
In the meantime, I'm working on rewriting the early chapters of this story. When I finally hit post on the epilogue in a few years, I'll still have to go back and redo a whole bunch of the early story, much of which I've come to hate (looking at you, Chapter 2), as well as give a general polish pass to basically every chapter. There's also a giant list of fixes and tweaks I need to do before I would ever consider publishing this work, some of which are very impactful (altering Gabby's ability set, for example). Whenever I find myself waiting on Demi for more than a day, I try to make some early progress on the parts I can do now. You won't see them until the story is finished, though.
My vacation starts once 107 is posted. Then I'm going to take 30 days off from that point. Until then, I'll be here, plugging away on the rewrite. Peace!
