Announcement! Changing the tiers!

Hello everybody.  I wanted to talk to you all real quick about what I'm doing to change the tiers and why.  I first created this Patreon for two reasons:

1. An attempt to get a little money to send to my friend who edits this story, both as a thank you and as incentive to get him to place it higher on his priority list.

2. To create a financial guilt, whereby the act of people paying to read these chapters would keep me from ever thinking about dropping the story when it stopped being fun and started feeling like work.

A year and a half later, it is clear to me that I was going about all of this poorly.  My good friend is absurdly busy and something in his life always seems to be on fire.  $40 a month isn't going to fix that and speed up the editing process.  Hell, $400 a month isn't going to probably make a difference.  So while I'm still going to send the money his way as a thank you, it won't matter if it's $20 or $80.

As for myself, I've found that people paying me does in fact make me feel committed to writing, but surprisingly, I've realized that interacting with Patrons through Discord and comments has had the same effect but many orders of magnitude greater.  Once I get to know my readers and bond with them, I don't want to disappoint them.  So really, more patrons > more money.

That's why I've decided to consolidate everything into a new tier called " One Early Chapter" that has all the benefits of the $3 but for even less.  If you are a patron already, rejoice and switch your selected tier to the new one.  $1 patrons get more chapters, $3 patrons get to save a whole whopping $2!
